Mixture of the nearest- and next-nearest-neighbor d + id-wave pairings on the honeycomb lattice

Abstract Symmetry of superconducting pairing is one the cardinal issues in superconductivity. In general, nearest-neighbor and next-nearest-neighbor pairings cannot spontaneously mix with each other constrained by distinct symmetry classification, for example d x 2 − y - d xy -wave square lattice. The honeycomb lattice provides a special platform to study mixture components due its unique crystal structure. Here, using variational quantum Monte Carlo simulations, we report robust ground state intrinsic chiral + id on We numerically identify that two channels promote other. proportion component can be readily tuned doping density short-range interactions. Our results provide efficient ways manipulate real-space pairings.
